Hurricane Irene Safety Checklist
NASA published the original image as part of their image of the day series. It really helps show the size of Hurricane Irene and almost makes it seem like planet Earth just grew another continent.

Keep Lansdowne Beautiful Day 2011
The second annual “Keep Lansdowne Beautiful Day” will take place on Saturday, April 16 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Join your community at the Borough Green (Lansdowne and Baltimore Avenues) where we will launch our clean up of the Central Business District. Volunteers will remove trash, sweep the sidewalks and generally beautify our home. Please help spruce up the downtown before the many Spring and Summer happenings in Lansdowne.
This is a great day to keeping Lansdowne clean and beautiful and an even better day to meeting your neighborhood.
