Cost to replace or upgrade electric panel

As part of our “How much does it cost?” series, we recently upgraded our electric panel to a 200 Amp panel. The whole project ended up costing $1500 with a licensed, insured electrician in Delaware county, Pennsylvania.

As always, standard disclaimer applies as costs vary based on your location, project requirements,  permits and other fees.

  1. We replaced our fuse box with the help of a contractor from eContractorBids a little while back and the price came out to something very similar to what you posted.
