If you’re in the market for new appliances keep an eye out for the Cash for Clunkers for Appliances program that the U.S. Department of Energy’s is putting together. This is a $300 million State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program that may help consumers looking for new appliances.

I am not aware of any Texas state sponsored rebate for energy efficient appliances. If such a deal exists, your local appliance dealer will know.
